Staff at a medical clinic in the town o Honda said a 22-year-old woman ca this week complaining of severe pain her lower abdomen and attending nu Carolina Rojas said she was shocked discover roots coming out of the wo v**ina.
“My mom told me that if I didn’t wan get pregnant, I should put a potato u there, and I believed her.” the patient quoted as saying.
Rojas said the potato had been inside woman for about two weeks and was growing roots inside her.
The nurse said doctors were able to remove the spud without surgery and do not expect the woman to experien any long-term effects from the experi — except, perhaps, a newfound avers using potatoes as contraception.
